hello every linux user....


hello everyone, and i am very glad to join this site as i am new in linux, actually i recently installed fedora 10(aka cambridge), and i am really enjoy using this more that windows...actually i need to know is there any media player(like VLC, winamp etc), which supports the fedora 10 and if it is then kindly tell me how to install it with details...

VLC is supported in fedora.

Solution.

VLC is supported by Fedora.
try yum install vlc.

Fedora 10 is outdated and not supported anymore. You will not get any security updates and bugfixes. You also will run into troubles when you want to install new software.
I would strongly recommend to go for a supported version.

fedora 15 is the latest verson of fedora which supports vlc . you can get fedora 15 from here http://fedoraproject.org/download-sp...ve-Desktop.iso

I tend to suggest one use the (software) package management that the distro provides.

hello everyone, currently i am using fedora 10, and there is no internet connection in my system, and i have a VLC setup and i want to install it in my pc, kindly give me guidence about this procedure, step by step....
