as root:
Code:
tar xvzf install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz
cd install_flash_player_9_linux/
./flashplayer-installer
a bit more is required if you have a 64bit firefox.

For 64 bit if you have ubuntu or kubuntu(maybe xubuntu not sure though) open up a terminal and type.

sudo apt-get install nspluginwrapper flashplugin-nonfree lib32nss-mdns

You might come across 3 small problems I've seen so far.
1. If you go to a video site and the flash video is grayed out just refresh it 1 or 2 times and it should play.
2. If firefox is open for awhile and video is grayed out and refreshing doesn't help close firefox and open it again and it should be back to normal.(fyi: I have firefox to
to show my tabs from last time.
3. When going to a site with a video firefox might freeze for several seconds but don't worry if you just wait it will unfreeze.

installing flash player

Hi best thing to do is if you've got the flash player folder in your home folder is to open it click on the document which says flash installer when the dialog box comes up click open in terminal and terminal will tell you what to do after that.
