hard drive information

First thank you to answers of a previous question that allowed me to use the system (and love it) .
I build another pc from spare parts and bits i found and it is much better then the earlier one that I used as a guinea pig. The hard drive i got was a worry as it was 4.3 gigs but in the W98 rescue disk it showed up as a little over 2 gigs. Now. how can i get information on the state of my hd as it is at present, since i knocked out all the partitions etc, like how big, how full etc

There will be more questions from me in future, please don't tear all your hair out at once, you may need some to tear out for my future questions

The disk druid in the redhat( i assume u r using redhat) installer can show you the current state of the hard drive partitions. Alternatively u can try fdisk.
