Gstreamer problem, sound converter
Want to convert mpeg-4 to mp3 using sound converter but keep getting
could not decode stream "gstreamer problem". anybody any ideas.

Are all the required packages/patches installed, gstreamer ?

If you are using Ubuntu, try installing morituri:

sudo apt-get install morituri
gstreamer* is one of morituri's dependencies.
