gsteamer alsasrc device protocol error
I am using alsasrc device=hw:1,0 to capture audio from a usb capture device in Lubuntu. It works, but when I set up the same command in raspbian jessie on a raspberry pi2 it fails with a protocol error.
"recording open error on device hw:1,0 : protocol error"
arecord lists the card exactly as it does in Lubuntu. The gstreamer1-alsa plugin is loaded as gst-inspect lists alsasrc.
I cannot determine the protocol error. Would I need to compile the plugin instead of using the package?
