Does Fedora 10 come with grub2?
If it does that's pretty easy to do
I usually unhook my hd 1st so that there's
no interference and my ext3 usb runs as 1st hd (hd0,0)
via grub

I have no idea about this. All I know is you can directly boot iso using grub2.(found in forum)You don't have to extract the ISO to boot it.

I tried yum install grub2 that worked but somehow i am not able to make grub2 my primary grub.So I cannot get grub2 prompt and get the same old grub prompt.
I know how to install grub from a grub prompt into a flash drive.
