GRUB fail when install Fedora 8 in secondary hd

I've install Fedora 8 and GRUB boot loader on my secondary hd. When i boot with my secondary hd, GRUB fail. This error also appeared when i install Ubuntu. When I install OpenSUSE and choose boot loader as LILO, it worked well. So can you help me configure GRUB or show me how to install LILO.

Did you install grub to the MBR (Master Boot Record), or did you install grub to the root partition?

Please show the output of the command 'fdisk -l'.

Please show the output of 'cat /etc/fstab'.

Please show the output of 'cat /boot/grub/menu.lst' (you will need root permission for this one).

Especially /boot/grub/menu.lst -- I think you may have mapping issues; & preferably put it in a "Code:" block.
