GCC problem AMD Athlon(tm) 64


hiii to all i have a very genrous problem regarding GCC
i have a PC.configuration is given
Processor (CPU): AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+
Speed: 2,200.00 MHz
OS: Linux 2.6.25.16-0.1-default x86_64
Current user: root@linux-o6ur
System: openSUSE 11.0 (i586)
KDE: 4.0.4 (KDE 4.0.4 >= 20080505) "release 15.2"
Vendor: nVidia Corporation
Model: GeForce 6100
Driver: nv

i hav opensuse 11 installed in my computer my DVD drive is not working .How can i install gcc plz send me the exact link of GCC package for my pc and how can i install gcc using YAST .I am a newbie so plz be discreptive with your answer

Many distros install gcc as default. What makes you think it's not installed on your system? Try typing gcc in a terminal. If it says anything other than "command not found" you have it installed.

GCC is in your basic repositories that you can access via YaST. Don't forget also to install the kernel source & headers.
