i have apt-get running an it seems to work..... BUT when i try to upgrade Gaim i get
#apt-get install gaim
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package gaim

Whats up with that??
I'm runnig SuSE 8.2

gaim that comes with red hat 9 is fine - you just need to activate the plugins for msn, icq, etc.

btw, theres no more support for yahoo in gaim

Go to
download the apt or add
### Dag Apt Repository for Red Hat 9
rpm redhat/9/en/i386 dag
in /etc/apt/sources.list file
you got more soft can be updated!!!

Like i use it to update the mozilla to 1.4
