Are you using Gaim v0.70, or an older version?
Older versions no longer work with Yahoo due to some changes Yahoo made.

you might want to backup your .gaim files and then uninstall everything and re-install.

type: "locate gaim" in a terminal. But most likely it's in /usr/bin/gaim.

The .gaim files are probably in your home dir.

depends on how you installed it. sometimes within the the make file will allow you to uninstall like this
Code:
make unintsall
but if you used a packaging system (i think that slack has one) then look into that or you can locate all of the files like hildog said and remove them.
