ftp.sh: line 6: ftp: command not found


Hello,

Code:
#!/bin/bash
HOST='hostURL'
USER='username'
PASSWD='password'

ftp -n -v $HOST << EOT
ascii
user $USER $PASSWD
prompt
cd upload
ls -la > ftp.txt
bye
EOT
ERROR:
# sh ftp.sh
ftp.sh: line 6: ftp: command not found

Please advise
