From MS-Win-XP-Home to Ubuntu 10.4
Hallo!
Almost two months ago, I finally began the move from MS-Win to Ubuntu. The process is not complete but, for a non-programmer, the move is proving to be the right one. I have Ubuntu 10.4 installed with a simple Wine installation for three open source ms-win platform products.
I am a writer, writing in English but needing to publish in German, the language of my adopted country.
Almost all of the posts I will make, will be related to the work I do as a writer.
My first will be on an irritation with not being able to install one module of the KDE4 Suite. That is kexi. It offers a simple database which I would like to use. Yesterday I decided to download it and try and install it myself. I have downloaded it and am still trying to find out how to install it. Any help offered would be gratefully received.
