fluxbox problems

I have install fluxbox and it's placed in /urs/local/bin/fluxbox.

I created a file calles .xinitrc in /home/demon and a folder called .fluxbox.

In the .xinitrc file I wrote: exec /usr/local/bin/fluxbox (as they said in the manual), but it don't start fluxbox

Whats wrong ?

How are you starting X? Do you start it by typing startx or do you use a display manager like xdm, kdm, or gdm?

I'm using fluxbox in a RH 7.2 machine ( really a RULE installation ) and I've created ths .xinitrc at /usr/X11R6/lib/xinit/ and is working.

Only root and a regular user (me) on the machine.
