firefox/thunderbird icons!?

Hello,

just installed firefox through Yast in Suse 9.2. It puts the links under 'Internet' and then 'Web browser' in the Suse menu which is OK, but I want an icon on my desktop. When I drag the icon to the desktop and it gives me the option to 'copy here' or 'create link' I select 'create link' - and it does. Only problem is, the icon looks a bit rough and jagged!? i would expect the icon to appear smooth and polished like all the other icons...thunderbird does the same - even worse! the icon is inside a white box! This is a minor concern, but Im just curious why it is appearing this way.

Cheers.
