find remote IP Address in My Office Network


I want to login to my server located in same intranet. How can I know the IP address of my server from my Ubuntu PC. I know the username password of the Server.

unSpawn, there were some weird things going on with LQ at the time this was posted, so I'd suspect it was a server issue as mush as the poster's

If you or anyone else encounters things out of the ordinary that can't be attributed to Internet Weather conditions we'd love to hear about that. Please post that in the appropriate forum. An account of the situation does not indicate any conditions that could lead to involuntary double-posting.
