Question Filesystem benchmark during power failure

Hi,
I want to test how filesystem benchmark works during sudden power failure.

How do I stop system suddenly when benchmark is running and restart same benchamrk process after restart?

Thanks

You could pull out the power cord to simulate the power-failure...

what kind of benchmark is it?
you need to implement a way to be able to automatically continue it after reboot. And also the benchmark process should be able to continue somehow, so you need to know the last state of it.

Thanks

I can't see how iozone supports power outage. And I also don't see how the benchmark itself is related to power outage at all.
