file upload apache 2.0

I recently started my own apache web server. I want to know how can I make it possible for users to upload files to my server through their web browser and put them in a specific folder on my server.

Also can I make it so that the user has to log in with a user name and password before they can upload a file.

I am running redhat linux 9.0 and apache 2.0 server.

Does anyone know of any web sites I can check out. So far I haven't had any luck.
