ok i have a few problems and an answer to 1 of them would be good, i am not a compleat newb but not a expert,,,ok here goes:
when i boot in to yoper it just restarts the pc after about 3 seconds!! wots going on?
Gentoo along with dyne:bolic just hang after saying "loading kernal" when installing them
and finaly installing fedora core 2 jsut restarts the pc every time i hit enter at the install window????? works fine on my laptop! i have tryed all of the command line and poramiters i no!!!
Erm yes i have i also did a check data or check media? or somthing on them,,,some of them behave differntly on different computers? but it is this one i am trying to sort though
I also am having this problem. I have installed FC 2 and Mandrake 9.2 before with these discs (on another computer) but they wont boot up on the machine I just built. I have tried Mandrake 9.2, 10.0, and FC 2 and they all lock up at the same place. Where it loads the kernels. Could this have to do with my MoBo - Asus A8V Deluxe?
