First I'm new, so if this is old stuff, I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction to an answer.

I've got Fedora 6 and Windows sharing one hard drive and the computer boots up into Fedora, which is fine, at least for now. But I'd like the initial Fedora screen to wait indefinitely for the decision as to which OS to enter rather than timing out quickly into Fedora.

Eventually, I hope to work out all the problems to using Fedora exclusively but right now I can't even enter Fedora beyond the first screen because I'd don't have the necessary driver for my GeForce 7200 video card.

Any help is much appreciated.

If you use GRUB,
You can edit /boot/grub/menu.lst
and put the timeout to whatever you want.
