Fedora 3 Sata Boot

Hello all, I'm new to Linux, and I installed Fedora 3 on a partition on my SATA drive. I have 2 other drives which are normal ide. My SATA is partitioned into a windows xp boot, and I hoped a Fedora boot. However after my fedora install it boots right to windows. I've changed some of the boot settings on install, and it didn't help. I tried to find some boot managers and they didn't work either. Thanks in advance for any help.
