extending the xen disk by lvm


I use lvextend -L +10G /dev/main-vol/xene.disk

but it cannot be reflect the changes after reboot how i increase the size of xen disk using lvm

please help me any one regarding this problem

Hi Anis

You cannot do that. Not a chance.

Why would you want to extend that lvm disk when the VM is running? If your disk is getting full why wouldn't you create another lv disk and attach to the machine? This can be done without rebooting.
