" SHA256SUM.gpgsigned " will need to be used with gpg
use the stranded "SHA1SUM" on windows
and use sha1sum.exe
http://mirror.centos.org/centos/dostools/
see section "3.2. Checking the md5sum (or sha1sum) under Windows/DOS"
http://www.centos.org/docs/5/html/CD_burning_howto.html
but you used Vuze so there is NO NEED to check
the p2p torrent client Vuze
automatically checks the parts
they ALL have to be there if vuze said it was done
this is a very basic part of ALL torrent clients
if not EVERYTHING is there it is not finished and will not tell you it is done
if vuze finished then ALL the iso downloaded
--- if you are burning to a dvd then do this --
during the install after you burn it to dvd
on the
very first menu is the option to check the dvd
-- do so --
it will ask you if you want to install
run the x86memcheck
and to check the disk
but this is a VM install so there is no real need for a dvd
have the vm mount the iso as a dvd
without the physical step of burning to a dvd there is also no need to run the test on the install menu
