Question Error messages trying to start gnome from terminal...

Hello,
I'm completely new to Linux. I just got a Chromebook and I have started using terminal (Buster). I am trying to add a desktop / graphics. I have installed gnome but I can't see to run it at all ...
When I use the "startx" command I get this message ... and I can't find any help on this issue online ...

Hi and welcome to LQ

Could you please try running the command
Code:

Are you using the Linux subsystem on ChromeOS? Then none of this will work.
