Thank you for your assistance, I followede the instructions, and yes it worked.
How ever KB3 still does not work properly, but I will look into that.
I looked at Ubuntu and it is 700mb to big to download and possibly 6-10 weeks for delivery.
Any how the forum is great and the help outstanding.
Glad it worked. Try posting the problems you are having with k3b in the "linux software" forum. There are a lot of people who use k3b, so you are likely to get some replies. Linuxquestions is usually helpful. Sometimes you get replies that are useless, but you can still learn a lot by trying (and you don't have to pay anything for it!)
Hi all .. amm new to Linux SuSE 10.2, i downloaded Synaptic package manager it downloads updates .. but it doesn't install any of them .. an error message says "0 package(s) with illegal/corrupted signatures" then it stops so i quit without applying any updates or changes

Try from the command line:
Code:
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
as root and make note of error messages seen. You might also look at the file /etc/apt/sources.list Find out what Suse uses for sources and make sure your file has them.
