Error comes up with gstreamer 0.10

hey guys

i have just installed elisa on pclinuxos 2007. its version is 0.1.6-pclos2007. im not sure if this is a proprietory one to pclinuxos or just an old version.

anyway, with it came gstreamer 0.10 . and whenever i try to launch elisa from command line it comes up with the error as follows :

/usr/bin/python: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgstramer-0.10.so.0: undefined symbol: g_once_init_enter_impl

i have searched and found someone had a similar problem and it was just libs in the /usr/local/lib directory, however. on my pc there is nothing in this directory.

any suggestions?

thanks.
