entering username and password for a webpage through shell script


Hi,

I am tryin to open a web page from a shell script
e.g. firefox -url http://portfolio.rediff.com/money/js...watch_home.jsp

Is there any way to enter username and pasword from command line as it is there for FTP

Any information will be a great help

Simply use firefox to save the username & password.
