Post Email Receive Problem

Help me please, 2 weeks back my qmail hdd crash but it manage to be recovered. and so i created a link to all users (for e.g ln -s ~useraccount/Mailbox user account) and it works fine i guess coz nobody is complaining. Then a few user ask me how come they cannot receive any mails but they are able to sent it out. So i checked on the linux server and all the account shows there is a link but the funny thing is how come most of the user could receive and sent as per normal but not some of them? By the way i have a email virus scan server and it shows that the emails had been sent to the affected users account .So it really puzzles me where the message is being directed. I hope somebody could help me out on this. Your assistance is deeply appreciated. Thanks everyone.
