Email Clients

I have just installed Linux and am using a dual boot system, but I am trying to eventually use Linux for everything (except games).

Saying that, I was wondering what you recommend to use for email. I've heard that Evolution is probably the best, but is it easier just to use Mozilla mail or something? (I know this is very subjective, but I just want to see a few opinions =] )

Secondly and more importantly, is there any way to convert my emails and contacts from Outlook to the aformentioned (or any other) linux email clients? I would also like to convert my favorites to mozilla bookmarks, is there a utility available to do this?

Thanks

Floyd

Evolution is the best.
You can import Outlook Express Emails (I don't know about addresses) to evolution.
First, export the emails from the outlook express to a single file. Then Copy it over to Linux and import from Evolution. There is an option "import".

To convert your IE favourite to mozilla bookmarks, check this out.

if you need a a gui based email client evolution is the best but if you want a powerful one try gnus(comes with emacs) but you wont be able to reag html mail and ui not so user friendly.
