Elementary OS 6 Doesn’t Recognize IPod

I’m trying to get music off of my old iPods and when I plug any of the iPods in they do not show up as being connected to the computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have never had an iPod (indeed, I've never had any iJunk at all), but I found an article that I hope will help: https://www.wikihow.com/Manage-an-iPod-in-Linux

If they don't show as connected, have you verified they are functional and work on their own to play music. With a newer iphone or ipad, you can access files through icloud.com online if you set up an account, have you done that or can you?

What have you tried to see if they are connected or show and which Linux are you using?
THe lsusb command will usually show some info, have you tried that? Another command which may work is: usb-devices,
Do you get any output from either command. On some systems, you may also be able to use: lshw (needs sudo or root permisions) and dmesg might show something.

Usb-devices showed a bunch of information. Dmesg showed a bunch of information. The other two didn't show anything. It recommended doing a sudo apt-install from deb utils? Not sure what to do.
