Ubuntu 9.10 has been at end of life for almost two years.
You could try downloading and installing from the Ekiga website. I wouldn't be very optimistic, but it's worth a shot. http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/HowT...Ekiga_packages
You would be better up backing up your home directory, then updating your Ubuntu and rebuilding your system with a current version.

Hello,
Thanks for sharing the link, but there too it says "Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala is no longer supported, please upgrade". Or can I get the steps to install qutecom in my ubuntu 9.10 client machines which i have already downloaded, just don't know how to compile with additional supported lib files. Why I am insisting on 9.10 is that around 45 systems I am having an low end board which only supports ubuntu 9.10 version [Motherboard is Intel DG102GCC with 512mb ram & core 2 duo processor].

The link frankbell sent you also has the Ekiga source code listed. Download and compile it manually on your system, but even that may not work.
