easy to use wireless tool?

So, I'm running Ubuntu Jaunty. I'm using wireless g. It works fine. Connection's good. But, it doesn't work well, in that connecting is a hassle.

Right now I'm using the gnome network-manager. It's awkward. My network is a hidden network. I connect via that method, and it doesn't work. What I have to do is connect via the hidden network to get it to show up on my list, then go into the list, click on it, enter my password the first time it asks for it, but leave the given key in place the second time. It's a hassle, and it doesn't always work.

I tried wicd. I couldn't connect at all to the hidden network.

So, here's what I'm looking for. A simple wireless tool. GUI would be better than CLI. I click on it, enter the SSID, enter my password, and go. Nothing automatic, no fiddling with default keyrings and stuff like that. Just enter the network and WPA password and go.

Does such a program exist?

Thanks!
