Dual boot problems

I had XP Pro on and wanted to do a dual boot with SUSE 9.1

It's using GRUB loader, and when it goes to Windows I get the dreaded: "file system type unavailable.. "

My GRUB is very basic:

root (hd1,0)
chainloader +1

I tried: hd0,0 and that did the same thing...

Am I basically screwed and need to reinstall Windows and SUSE again? Or does anyone know of a way to boot to Windows?

I did check within SUSE, I can see my Windows directory/partition...

Where is Suse and Windows exactly? Same disk? Different disks? Different partitions? What is your disk(s) layout?
