dual boot partitions


hey i just made some partitions, i wanna dual boot gentoo / XP
i have /dev/hda1 as my windows partition, /dev/hda2 as boot (and tagged bootable) ext2, hda3 is swap, and hda4 is / . Did i do anything wrong? I just wanna make sure.. and will lilo automatically know that i have a windows partition (i havent gotten up to lilo yet)

sorry i forgot, also.. im not doing lilo in MBR correct? cause i made a boot partition... i was confused about that part.. correct me if im wrong pls
