downloading in different mirrors

will it be ok to download Redhat 8 from different ftp servers. for example, download the 300 MB part of the disc 1 from Redhat's official server and continue downloading the remaining part via server mirrors? will not i get a corrupted iso?

i just don't like repeating the 37 hour download process again. downloading is just the only way to obtain a copy of linux here.

hi,

if you are able to download from different mirrors you will not the have the files corrupted. Look to have their names exactly the same (exact the same version) because if they are, the ISO will be identicaly. Others who mirrors RedHat distribution (or other) don't modify the ISO.

download from a website that is near you (better speed, not geographically necessarily)
