does someone know a good tutorial to do a raid 1 (or mirror) on RHEL?

Hello!
Well, I must do a mirror on a client, that's using RHEL 4.4, of a disk in use and I dont know how to do it. I have read something about the mdam command, but it's not too clear for me...
Do you know a good tutorial or "how to" to do the raid 1 or mirror from a disk in use?
Thanks!
EDIT: because, it's neccesary to do/have a fd partition? Because I cant change or alter the disk in use.... and it's doenst have a fd partition

I know when I was playing around with raid I used this. It will most prob have the sort of commands for RH as we all use mdadm these days

Have a read and it will give you some sort of clues and might help.
