Do I have to upgrade to ubuntu 12.04
Do I have to upgrade to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS from my Older 10.04 LTS. I like it as it is and don't want the new version. Is it possible to keep it updated?
Just Wondering.

You don't have to, if you don't want to - it is YOUR CHOICE!!!
However, the reason newer versions are released is that bugs and critical security errors are often fixed. If you are running an outdated version, there is a likelihood that your system is not as secure as it could be. In any case, you can update your kernel & core system without changing your desktop.
Why not make a backup and give the update a try? - You might like it and if not, you can always revert to your back up.

You will have support for Ubuntu 10.04 until April, 2013 for the Desktop version. After that no updates but that doesn't mean you need to isntall something newer, still your choice.

If you find you don't like the Unity desktop, you could get the old look and feel from Mint 12 LTS version with Mate.
