I'm using centos 6.4_64 bit Os on Vmware
There is some issue in my bind configuration
my hostname= server.chul.com
my localhost server ip=192.168.80.5
When i run this cmd "dig @server.chul www.chul.com" then i got error "dig couldn't get address for server.chul.com:failure
HOWEVER MY NAMED SERVICE RESTART & START SUCCECFULLY
I'M SENDING YOU ATTACHMENT OF MY DNS CONFIGURATION FILE
PLEASE RESOLVE THIS ISSUE THAT WHY IS ERROR COMING.
and also run this cmd "ping -c3 www.chul.com then i got error message "ping unknown host www.chul.com"
sir why this error is coming, my Dns service restart&start fine,
with the info provided, one thing is for sure DNS is not set up properly nor your hostname. Its not like you define anywhere and hostname starts working, please read first thoroughly about DNS.
