Hi

please help me out of this how to configure dns.in redhat6

We are very happy to help you with SPECIFIC questions/problems, but please put some effort into looking things up. How-to guides are very easy to find. Also, since you're using Red Hat enterprise, you can call Red Hat for support, since you're paying for it, right????

use vi/vim edit /etc/resolv.conf

add nameserver X.X.X.X (yourdns ip addr)

save

...which does not tell the OP how to CONFIGURE DNS, which is what was asked. If they put in an IP address without having DNS configured, how will that get addresses resolved?
