Edit the file /etc/apt/sources.list with your favorite text editor and place a "#" symbol in front of all lines that start with cdrom.

Question ran into this so sorry for resurrecting an old thread

Will disabling the CD sources on the apt sources.list cause issues anywhere else?

(my printer wasn't showing up in libreoffice so i am installing the drivers and I don't want to "break" anything)

ugh! I just realized; I can disable the cd sources, load the drivers, then go back and enable it back to the default! But thank you spiky0011, at least I know I shouldn't mess anything up in the process.
