Question default linux users and groups


I notice that when i installed red hat 7.3 it also includes various user like ftp, apache and other.

Can I safely remove those? Please explain me which i can remove and which I cannot.

Not NO but HELL NO.
Those account are REQUIRED by the system.
Most to assist in the management of services like; ftp apache, sendmail....cron..... inetd

A simple no would have worked, then the explanation of why.

Your first question should have been, what are these accounts for? Not can I blow them away !!!

Your question also suggests, that you haven't taken the time to gain a basic understanding if Unix/Linux?

I'd suggest going along with what tricky has requested as, he is a moderator, knows what he's doing, and as do I, prefer 'to the point' answers where the question asker won't have the option to get confused. Danke.....
