Deepin installed on old Asus laptop convertible. Seems to work locally but cannot connect to wi-fi. Local network is unsecured but no wi-fi networks show up.
When you say "work locally," I'm assuming you mean that an ethernet connection works, but wireless does not.
What is the wireless chipset in this machine? (The command lspci issued in a terminal should reveal that information; you may have to issue the command as root.)
