Hello folks;
I would like to ask for help with this
same issue. I recently installed DeepinOS and have been trying to install the 'signal' desktop app. Unfortunately it caused the same problem mentioned here:
E: Malformed line 1 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/signal-xenial.list (type)
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
I tried using the code -- xed admin:///etc/apt/sources.list.d/additional-repositories.list
However I found our that xed is a text editor which isn't installed. I cannot install it because of the above issue (there's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza dear Liza)
When I opened the repositories.list with the default text editor I couldn't find the 'bionic' mentioned above (here is what is in the file)
