OK one last checkup just so I do not mess any thing up.

First a bit of info:
What I want is a distro that is solid, stable, secure and one that I can program on using multiple programming languages, (which I have learned all Linux distros are good for that) any way I decided to try Debian.

So If I have read every thing correctly all I need to do is download cd1 and then install it and because I have a T1 connection I can just dl the rest of the files when I am instilling it.

Also do other programs like some of the top media programs for Linux and web browsers like opera?
