cron queries

Hi,

In Solaris, I submit cron job using "cron -e". In RedHat Linux, how to submit a cron job?

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you don't use crontab -e eg http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23824_01/...ron-24589.html ??
FWIW, its basically the same in Linux (& other *nix)

crontab -e

2 notes with this:
It will work if you are root.
It will work with a user id as long as permissions were not taken away to create a cron entry
