[SOLVED] cron email without new lines

My cron daemon runs a script every hour and sends me an email

/etc/cron.d/hourly

Code:

MAILTO='myemail@here.net'
0 * * * * root /root/reminders/hourly

Even though the output of the script appears just fine in the log files, the email I receive is without spaces, as shown in the attached image.

How can I fix this?

It appears that gmail is what's removing the extra line breaks. What does the information link* in front of that statement say?

it says restore line breaks, and the issue is fixed. so it's outlook's fault. thank you.
