Creating Custom Keyboard Shortcuts in Ubuntu

Hi,

I use Lucid Lynx (Ubuntu 10.04). It has the social media button on the top panel. I want to create a keyboard shortcut for this. How do I do it?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Try System -> Preferences -> Keyboard Shortcuts.

Kind regards,

Yes. I tried that. But it asks for a command to execute for a shortcut. What command should I give to access the social media button on the top panel?

Hello,

I really wouldn't know because I'm not using Ubuntu but I've found this. Is it that what you're looking for? (the MeMenu?)

Kind regards,

Eric

Yes. Precisely. The indicator applet that lies between the volume applet and the weather/time applet. I was able to access this applet with the shortcut Super + M. But now it's no longer working. Now the same shortcut inverts colors.
