command error after mount

I have insert CD into CD-ROM drive. Set going mount mnt/cdrom and get
end_request: I/O error. dev: 40(hdb), sector 4368
hdb: command error: status 0x51 {DriveReady SeekComplete Error}
hdb: command error 0x54
and so on. What does it mean?

try mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
