laptop or desktop

my Desktop monitor has contrast/brightness/color temp/ and other "preset" cool,normal,warm settings , using real world buttons .

have you used those settings

also my NVIDIA card GUI has very similar settings
red/green/blue/black and gama


even back in the very early XP days 16-17 years ago it also had the same type of settings

on linux i have
the physical monitor , the graphics card, and THE DESKTOP settings

now i use KDE , but Gnome also has the same color , brightness, and gama settings

You know what? I'm starting to prefer Lubuntu's colours instead of Windows. By comparison, they don't see much different, and Windows' brightness management is worse.
