CIFS shares

I am having issues with CIFS shares in Centos 7. When I mount a CIFS share I can CD into the first part of the directory to see that the filesystem is there. But when I try to CD into a folder it freezes and I can not do a ctrl c to break the freeze. I tired ctrl z and it didn't work as well. When I mount NFS shares it works like it should. I am mounting the NFS share through fibre channel and the CIFS shares through IPs. I am new to linux and have no idea of where to look to see what is freezing. I've also tried with Firewall and SELINUX disabled and am still having the issue. The issue seemed to occur after I enabled Teaming with MTU 9000. The switch was also configured to handle the LACP settings. Any ideas much appreciated.

Look for clues in the journal after rebooting.
Code:
sudo journalctl -b -1 -e
will do it if /var/log/journal/ exists. If it doesn't, create it, then try again to the freeze, then look at the journal on the reboot. man journalctl
