of a question like yours, it will take at least five requests
for clarification to even establish what exactly you want :)
ok, i was trying to install gtk, so that i could run Lopster, because i need gtk to install Lopster, then when i type ./configure, it passes most os the checking and then when it comes to this
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.8... yes
checking for X... no
configure: error:
*** X libraries or include files not found. Check 'config.log' for
*** more details.
and it stops the ./configure... thats as clear as i can get, because thats what im trying to do
Assuming that you're running X11 (I don't know
anything about your system, distro and so on)
that error message means that you haven't go
the XFree development packages installed.
